Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Opportunity

ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join their growing team in Cinnaminson, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care in a supportive and professional environment.

Caregiving Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor clients and promptly report changes in condition to supervisory staff
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.
• Assist with medications as directed and within scope of CHHA certification.

Administrative and Training Responsibilities:

• Use the SwyftOps app to manage schedules, clock in/out, complete EVV, and document care.
• Complete accurate and timely shift notes, care documentation, and incident reports.
• Maintain current certifications, credentials, and required documentation.
• Complete required online trainings, in-services, and competency assessments.
• Complete ongoing training in areas such as dementia care, fall prevention, infection control, HIPAA, and client safety.
• Follow agency policies, client care plans, and documentation requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
• Prior live-in or long-term home care experience preferred
• Ability to reside at a client's home for scheduled shifts
• Strong communication, reliability, and time-management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Valid ID and ability to pass a background check & drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
