About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: RNFA, Davinci Trained Must-Have: Candidates must be able to function in all three roles as Circulator, Scrub, and Assistant. Candidates must be flexible to perform all roles. Candidates must take call and Holiday Call wherever there is the most need. Candidates must possess a positive attitude and be dependable. Description: The OR department features 19 operating rooms. It is a Level II Trauma unit with physical separation between General and GYN operating rooms. The hours for this position will be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call responsibilities included. The staffing includes a Day Shift Charge Nurse, RN, Tech, and Surgical Assistant for busy evening shifts. Night Shift staff will include a Charge Nurse and Tech or Nurse, activated as needed for cases. The department documents patient information using electronic medical records software. Typical procedures performed include specialties such as General, GYN, Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Neuro, Ortho, Cardiac, and Davinci Kidney Transplant.
