Position Landscape Technician (Stormwater) Location: Huntington Beach, CA 92647 Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full‑time, 40–55 hours per week (Monday–Friday, overtime opportunities) Travel: Required, typically 10 days per month (company truck, lodging, $55 per diem) About the Role We’re hiring a Landscape Technician (Stormwater) to support maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other assets). Carry out mowing, weed trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance, and cleanup, as well as light construction and maintenance repairs for client properties. Operate landscaping and light construction equipment. Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck, typically 10 days per month. Qualifications 1–2+ years of experience with manual labor; outdoor experience preferred. Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials. Willingness to travel locally and regionally (10 days per month typical). Minimum age 21 years (DOT interstate transportation requirements). Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation. Must pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening (drug‑free workplace). Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and work in varying weather conditions.
