We are looking for a dependable Dishwasher to join the team at Happy Valley Casino. This position plays a key role in supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the food service areas. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and takes pride in contributing to a clean, safe, and productive work environment while supporting the culinary team. This position will report directly to the Sous Chef and will be responsible for:- Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Properly operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment.
- Removing trash and recycling and ensuring waste is disposed of appropriately.
- Assisting with basic cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining kitchen floors.
- Stocking clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in designated storage areas.
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Promoting positive guest interactions and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
- Previous dishwashing, janitorial, or food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods, typically 6-8+ hours per shift.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
