Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and fine‑tune deep learning models for document understanding, including layout analysis, table extraction, handwriting recognition, and multimodal fusion. Build scalable data pipelines to preprocess and annotate large volumes of PDFs, PowerPoints, JPGs, and other unstructured files. Integrate models into production services using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and ensure low‑latency inference for real‑time applications. Collaborate with product and research teams to translate cutting‑edge AI research into robust, maintainable code. Monitor model performance, conduct error analysis, and iterate on algorithms to improve accuracy on complex document layouts. Requirements 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML solutions, with strong expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Proven track record in computer vision and natural language processing applied to document image analysis. Hands‑on experience deploying models on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) and building scalable inference pipelines. Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL, annotation tools, and large‑scale dataset management.
