Planner Scheduler Supervisor

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Planner Scheduler Supervisor position. Planner Scheduler Supervisors are responsible for designated project‑management functions and supervise others who plan and schedule approved maintenance activities and projects. They coordinate, monitor, and inspect the completion of maintenance activities and projects by contractors, and/or plan and schedule the most complex jobs, projects, and work orders, such as those involving coordination between districts, employees in more than one trade, shutdown and start‑up plans, and/or long‑term or annual schedules. They must possess considerable communication skills and the ability to assess multiple alternative situations and determine the most effective course of action. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience within SacSewer as a Planner Scheduler or in supervisory duties over maintenance and operations, electrical, control systems, engineering, or engineering technician work. Three years of experience within SacSewer as a Maintenance & Operations Senior Technician, Senior Industrial Control System Technician, or Stationary Engineer II or higher. Four years of experience working as a Planner Scheduler in an industrial, construction, or governmental setting. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related field. At least three years of experience as a Planner Scheduler in an industrial, construction, or governmental setting. At least three years of supervising employees performing work related to the repair, maintenance, inspection, cleaning, construction, or operation of underground pipeline systems, lift stations, or wastewater treatment plant systems. Certification in Project Management recognized by the Project Management Institute or another accredited institution.
