Quality Inspector

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Summerville, SC. This is a 1st shift position and the pay is $19-$20/hr. Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leads. Responsibilities Act as impartial third party between production source and customer facility to ensure product meets criteria. Perform quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. Rectify non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. Use methods such as de‑rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non‑conforming material. Determine tools and equipment needed. Grind, sand, clean and oil parts and/or sub‑assemblies using hand tools or equipment. Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source. Technical Requirements Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub‑assemblies. Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Proficiency in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask. Demonstrated flexibility within a fast‑paced, challenging environment. Initiative and recognize needs. Handle highly sensitive and confidential material. Can lift/move 30 pounds. Must have reliable transportation. Work Experience 1+ year in quality related position. Basic knowledge of materials and production processes. Basic knowledge of quality control methods. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
