Senior Manager, Cross Cutting Integration

Location: Charlotte, NC - 5 day onsite

Type: Full Time Pay Range: $190k - $230k/Annum

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Lead and align cross-functional engineering teams across ECU diagnostics (UDS, DoIP), OTA updates, and vehicle cybersecurity to enforce release quality gates and sign off on vehicle integration builds for program milestones.
• Oversee vehicle-side OTA update integration, multi-ECU update orchestration, failure recovery ("no-brick" guarantees), and end-to-end alignment with cloud/backend and manufacturing EOL flashing teams.
• Lead the implementation and validation of vehicle security protocols—including secure boot, secure flashing, encryption, and authentication—ensuring full compliance with standards like ISO 21434.
• Own end-to-end validation strategy across SIL/HIL and vehicle-level testing, driving root cause analysis for complex issues and supporting war-room activities during DV/PV builds.
• Track, release, and optimize functional quality metrics (flash success rates, defect leakage, bus load margins) while validating ECU wake/sleep strategies, power state transitions, and parasitic current draw.

Must Haves:

• 10-12+ years of experience with vehicle E/E architecture and ECU level software stacks
• Experience utilizing CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet
• UDS diagnostic tools (ISO 14229) and communication tools
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GiftHub/GiftLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory. ALM/PLM Proficiency in Siemens Polarion, DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill.

Plusses:

• Automotive industry background (design and development process)
• Understanding of CANalyzer and CANoe
• Previous experience leading a team.
