About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Mammography Tech to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our clinical team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Mammography Tech will p erform all radiographic procedures as required with a special concentration in Mammography. As requested you will assume responsibility for all quality testing as it relates to mammography.

What You’ll Do

• Performs radiographic procedures using appropriate technical factors, optimal positioning, correct labeling and accurate identification to produce images of diagnostic quality.

• Performs and/or expected to be trained in procedures such as stereotactic breast biopsy, breast localization and ductograms.

• Performs clerical tasks as requested, maintains a system to track positive mammography finding and correlates findings with the biopsy results, organizes and presents the data to WI quality assurance technologist.

• Maintains records for certification credentialing and CME documentation for NYS, FDA, MQSA, and ACR for physicians, physicist and technologist.

• Responsible for notifying appropriate service engineer in the event of any equipment failures.

• Updates and reviews policies and procedures specific to site.

• Maintains inventory and orders any supplies needed for the mammography.

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence

• Perform clinical responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

• Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction

• Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community

What You Bring

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology program. NYS license required. Procedural experience preferred. Must have ARRT registration with advanced certification in mammography

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
