Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Location Saco, ME 04072 (In-person Home Health) Benefits Flexible schedule Duties Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs. Perform patient observation to monitor health status changes and report concerns to healthcare providers. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting engagement. Administer CPR if necessary and assist with catheter care as required by the client’s health plan. Requirements Previous home health care experience preferred. Strong observational skills. Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties. Knowledge of hospice care principles a plus. CPR certification highly desirable. Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills. Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently while following care plans.
