Responsibilities Represent EXP in client interactions at a ‘responsible charge’ level Manage project risks to minimize EXP’s and client’s exposure to problems Facilitate coordination between project team, client and other consultants Manage project success through timely internal and external communication Understand actual progress towards meeting scheduled project milestones and work with the team to adjust course if necessary Understand project team needs and time constraints, communicate them with clients, and actively manage expectations toward win-win solutions Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process within the budget Work with the project team to identify project scope changes and cost/time impact Manage quality by ensuring the QC process is followed, and by reviewing all client deliverables Manage project cash flow through timely invoices and collections Manage existing client relationships and assist with developing new relationships Provide lead engineering design or guidance in one’s discipline Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program 4+ years of building HVAC or Electrical design experience, 5+ years of healthcare facility design experience Registered Professional Engineer in State of Florida preferred Thorough knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical codes and FGI Professional written and oral communication skills Process oriented toward timely documenting of correspondence Advanced equipment selection and analysis and ability to develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases Salary Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors.
