This role translates operational needs into cutting-edge control system solutions that improve plant reliability, efficiency, and data-driven performance.Responsibilities:Design and implement automation systems including DCS, SCADA, MES, and data historiansMaintain process control systems to ensure product quality and operational stabilityIdentify and execute system upgrades to meet regulatory and production demandsEmbed OT cybersecurity controls and practices into daily operations and system designSolve high-level issues across automation platforms and control architectureSupport data analytics and integrate tools that enhance visibility into process performanceStandardize systems, procedures, and controls to maximize reliability and consistencyLead process control input for capital projects, site expansions, and technology transitionsMentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines (process, quality, performance, instrumentation)Participate in the automation on-call support rotationEnsure all work is compliant with safety and operational proceduresQualifications:BS Controls or Electrical Engineering degree7+ years in automation and process control engineering in manufacturing plantsExpertise in DCS, SCADA, and process automation systemsSiemens TIA portal and PCS7 experience requiredKnowledge of OT cybersecurity threats, risks, and preventionCompensation: Competitive pay ($120,000–$145,000/year)
