AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Beaumont, Texas, 77702!
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in QA, and support efficient patient flow. The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, proper handling of radionuclides and pharmaceuticals, and documentation of daily logs and periodic tests as required by license. The technologist will demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts or campuses as needed and to support department throughput while maintaining professional behavior and communication aligned with organizational values.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) credential by ARRT or certification by NMTCB required.
- State licensure required. Texas: MRT by TMB.
- BLS certification required (AHA only).
- Basic computer experience required.
- 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred. (Preferred: clearly marked as preferred.)
- Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures and act as a PACS Superuser.
- Ability to work other shifts and float to other campuses as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience (preferred).
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 07:00-15:00.
- May be required to work until 17:00 based on census and caseload.
- No weekday call; weekend call may be required.
- Float required to other campuses based on staff and census.
