Real-time monitoring, analytics, and SCADA/data infrastructureWe're hiring a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design and support industrial control panels and electrical systems from concept through production.You'll work across the full project lifecycle—understanding customer requirements, developing electrical designs, supporting procurement and manufacturing, resolving issues, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.This is not a role where you simply create drawings and hand them off. You'll stay close to the work, collaborate directly with manufacturing and supply chain, participate in customer discussions, and help solve problems when challenges arise.You'll work side-by-side with other Engineers, Project Managers, Sales, manufacturing, and customers. We're looking for an engineer who is technically capable, highly accountable, communicates reliably, and takes ownership of their work.If you enjoy turning requirements into practical electrical solutions, solving problems, and seeing your designs become real products, you'll fit right in.What We're Looking For2–5 years of experience with electrical control systems, industrial controls, or electrical engineeringStrong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to turn requirements into practical solutionsExcellent verbal, written, and listening communication skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality workAbility to identify problems, take action, and follow through to resolutionAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a broader engineering teamStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable working directly with customers, manufacturing personnel, and cross-functional teamsA high level of ownership, reliability, and accountabilityWillingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve technical and business skillsRequirementsElectrical Design & EngineeringDesign industrial control panels and electrical systems using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and other engineering toolsDevelop electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, cable interconnects, bills of materials, and other engineering documentationPerform electrical load calculations, heat calculations, and other design analyses as requiredInterpret customer requirements and translate them into practical, reliable electrical designsApply applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL 508AReview designs for accuracy, manufacturability, functionality, and complianceIdentify and correct design issues before they impact manufacturing or the customerProject & Customer SupportManage assigned control panel design and build projects from requirements through completionParticipate in customer meetings to understand requirements and provide technical recommendationsInterface directly with internal and external customers to clarify requirements and resolve technical questionsDevelop project cost estimates and provide technical input to the Sales teamMonitor project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverablesCommunicate project and task status consistently to engineers, project managers, customers, and other stakeholdersComplete assigned work reliably and within established timelinesManufacturing & Production SupportWork directly with manufacturing personnel to support the assembly and build of control panelsProvide technical guidance to prevent and resolve assembly issuesTroubleshoot electrical design and manufacturing issues and develop practical solutionsSupport prototype and production builds from initial design through completionUnderstand how designs translate from engineering documentation into a finished productUtilize electrical hand tools, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and other tools as neededProcurement & Operational SupportPartner with Supply Chain to resolve procurement issues, substitutions, and material availability challengesUtilize the ERP system to understand work order status, material requirements, and procurement statusReview bills of materials and help identify potential material or availability issues early in the projectSupport continuous improvement of engineering and manufacturing processesTeam Collaboration & ExecutionConsistently and reliably support Lead and Senior Engineers on project workCollaborate effectively with Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, and ManufacturingCommunicate clearly and proactively when priorities, timelines, or project requirements changeAcknowledge communications within four business hoursMaintain a minimum of 85% billable utilizationTake ownership of assigned work and follow projects through to completionMaintain a high level of attention to detail and quality while working in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience2–5 years of experience with electrical control systems, industrial controls, or electrical engineeringExperience designing electrical systems using AutoCAD or AutoCAD ElectricalWorking knowledge of industrial control panels and electrical systemsKnowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, particularly NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL 508AExperience reading and creating electrical schematics and technical documentationBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointHands-on experience with electrical hand tools, crimping, and solderingBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountLife insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysSalary: $95,000 – $120,000
