Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-motivated engineer who thrives in ambiguity and has a demonstrated ability to build scalable cloud and DevSecOps platforms from the ground up. You will play a key role in establishing a new cloud foundation and shaping how engineering teams build, deploy, secure, and operate software.

Responsibilities

• Build and establish scalable cloud and DevSecOps capabilities from the ground up
\n
• Design CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment standards
\n
• Build cloud services using IaC and support a multi-cloud AWS/Azure strategy
\n
• Develop secure containerized deployment patterns using Kubernetes and ECS
\n
• Embed security, observability, and automation into the software delivery lifecycle
\n
• Partner with application teams to establish scalable, reusable engineering standards
\n
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering
\n
• Experience building cloud platforms, infrastructure, or DevOps practices from scratch
\n
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
\n
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and containerization
\n
• Strong security background including secrets management, security testing, and data protection
\n
• Programming experience with Python and/or Java
\n
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog
\n
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to influence technical direction across teams
\n
• Cloud migration or modernization experience is a strong plus
