RN - OR Profession: RN Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Pre-operative and post-operative experience Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.Candidate is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.This position is for pre-op and post-op roles, not OR circulator.Candidates are required to have pre-op and post-op experience to be considered.Unit has 14 beds.Patient ratios are 2-3:1 for post-op and 1-2:1 for pre-op based on patient acuity.There is 1 full-time PCT available for unit staffing.Equipment on the unit includes bladder scanner, vein finder, and EKG machine.Documentation system used is Meditech.Scheduling requires 5 shifts of 8 hours from 06:00 to 14:30.Floating within surgical services is PRN, otherwise per facility policy.Patient experience requirements follow AIDET guidelines.Unit-specific guidelines and policies are available.This unit performs IV starts, administers basic IV infusions, and conducts foley insertions and EKGs.The workplace offers a friendly and positive environment.Teamwork is emphasized, and professional administrative support is provided.Recognition includes various accreditations and awards for commitment to patient care.The facility is noted for its ongoing involvement in health education through health fairs and screenings.Employees report improved perspectives on patient and colleague interactions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
