Staff Accountant
Richmont Graduate University
Description Richmont is seeking a Part Time Staff Accountant for the finance office. This position is reponsible for preparing and recording journal entries, account reconciliations and detailed reporting. Join a dynamic team that will also assist with month end close, audits and special projects. Internal growth potential and great company culture! Oversee all accounting functions, including:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Assist Students with Financial plans each semester
- Monthly Bank statement balancing
- Cash management
- Month-end and year-end close
- Other Items as needed by the CFO
