Details Assignment in the Nursing Float Pool at a hospital setting MedSurg/Telemetry patient population 12-hour night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week No on-call responsibilities May be required to float within the facility Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care specialty setting Advanced telemetry experience required Experience with Cardizem and Insulin drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and Phenobarbital on tele Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required NURSYS report with verification of all active RN licenses required Additional Information Provide MedSurg/Telemetry nursing care within a float pool structure Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius Weekly orientation provided Previous permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-749969.
