Part-Time Baker needed (32 hours)

Early hour shifts (6:30 - 2:30pm)

Possibility of Full-Time conversion after 90 days

Job Summary We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery in Folsom! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and baked goods. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a willingness to help other staff as needed (washing dishes, preparing hot food items). If you are dedicated, hardworking, and want an easy schedule

Duties and Responsibilities:

Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead

Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas

Bake a variety of breads, croissants, and pastries

Secondary duties as prep cook for hot breakfast items

Other duties as the need arises

Track, maintain the inventory for the manager on duty

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred

Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment

Knowledge of food safety practices

Previous experience handling a variety of baked goods (cookies, scones, etc.)

Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Team player

Available for early morning shifts
