Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years License: Current Arkansas Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - CVOR and Vascular OR experience - Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care - Knowledge of hospital policy and procedure standards - Ability to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the surgical team - Skill in assessing and documenting patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs - Capacity to recognize potential problems and communicate them to the surgical team - Proficiency in documenting nursing interventions and patient responses - Experience with accurate documentation of perioperative data - Anticipation of the surgical team’s needs by preparing required supplies Description: This position requires an RN specialized in the Operating Room. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on established standards. The RN must collaborate with the surgical team to develop patient care plans. Strong assessment skills are necessary to document patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs effectively. Communication of potential problems and abnormal findings to the surgical team is essential. Accurate documentation of nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses is a key responsibility. Familiarity with perioperative data documentation is required. The RN will prepare supplies for procedures according to the surgeon's preference card to support the surgical team.
