We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location: 302 Dulles Drive Suite P7 Lafayette, LA 70506

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 12:30pm CST

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providesexceptional customer servicetoall consumersandmembersofthe clinic staff
• Fillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailablefor verificationunderdirect supervisionoftheregisteredpharmacist
• Orders,receivesand storesincomingpharmacy supplies
• Receivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationorders
• Verifiesmedication stockandentersdatain computertomaintaininventoryrecords
• WorkswiththePharmacisttoassistinthepharmacyfunctionsand keepingthepharmacyin compliancewithallfederaland staterequirements
• Performs various clericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartment
• Communicateswith solidprofessional verbalandwritten communication skills
• Occasional delivery of medications
• Occasional pharmacy errands
• Working with Clinic partner including doctors, nurses and other clinical staff

• Otherdutiesasassigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and UnrestrictedPharmacyTechnician license inthe state of Louisiana
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Ability to use your own car to make deliveries and run errands as needed
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
