Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Basic computer and data entry skills required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience using barcode scanners, inventory systems, and warehouse technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and product tracking.
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, and stack materials as required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

Job Duties

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Transport products to designated warehouse locations and staging areas.
• Scan products, process inventory transactions, and print shipping labels.
• Perform product rotation and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Operate warehouse management and inventory control systems.
• Complete all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections using required safety checklists.
• Maintain compliance with company safety standards, food safety requirements, and customer quality expectations.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and workplace incidents to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations as assigned.

What You Will Do


As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.


A Forklift Operator supports efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations by safely transporting inventory using forklifts and other powered industrial equipment. This position combines technical equipment skills with strong safety awareness to support reliable material movement.


The Forklift Operator requires attention to detail, safe operating practices, and the ability to work efficiently around personnel, equipment, and inventory while maintaining warehouse productivity. Successful candidates contribute directly to efficient supply chain operations.
