Human Resources Assistant Job Description: The Human Resources Assistant supports the full employee lifecycle with a primary focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR operations. The role is a central point of contact for candidates, recruiters, employees, and managers to ensure a seamless hiring experience and efficient HR support, while maintaining accurate data, supporting compliance initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service. Location: Hilliard, OH (Contract, fully onsite, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm). Responsibilities Coordinate recruiting activities and maintain candidate records within SAP/SuccessFactors and applicant tracking systems. Schedule interviews and facilitate communication between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Prepare, distribute, and track offer letters while supporting background check and pre-employment screening processes through OrangeTree. Assist with new hire onboarding and ensure completion of required employment documentation and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports and metrics, including headcount, turnover, and other workforce data. Serve as a resource for employees and managers by responding to HR-related questions and assisting with system access and functionality within UKG and other HR platforms. Process employee documentation and support unemployment claims, employment verifications, and general HR inquiries. Support HR programs, employee engagement initiatives, meetings, and events while assisting with daily administrative functions. Essential Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of administrative, human resources, recruiting coordination, or related experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer‑focused approach with strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Additional Skills Experience working with HRIS, ATS, or talent management systems. Familiarity with UKG, SAP/SuccessFactors, and HR reporting/analytics. Exposure to recruiting, onboarding, or employee relations processes. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
