Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist residents with gait training, mobility exercises, transfers, strengthening activities, and therapeutic interventions.

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.

• Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.

• Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to maximize independence.

• Maintain a safe and effective therapy environment.

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

• Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Current PTA license in the State of Florida.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
