Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Rotating Every-Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Emergency Department serving a birth-to-death patient population
• Utilize critical care thinking and clinical skills in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency environment
• Manage and respond to a broad range of emergency presentations including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma cases
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 while delivering quality patient and family-centered care
• Operate and document within the Cerner electronic health record system
• Float to other areas within established competencies as needed to support staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; no first-time travelers considered
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
• Energetic, knowledgeable, and able to demonstrate strong stamina in a high-acuity environment
