School Bus Drivers: Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
The Pine Hill Board of Education is seeking dependable, safety-minded, and caring individuals to join our Transportation Department as School Bus Drivers.
Full-Time Position
- Starting Salary: $32,200
- Enrollment in the Public Employees' Retirement Pension System (PERS)
- Comprehensive Benefits Package
- Additional compensation for activity trips and athletic runs that extend beyond the regular 6-hour workday
Part-Time Position
- $26.00 per hour
- Up to 29.5 hours per week
- Opportunities for additional driving assignments as available
Qualifications Applicants must possess:
- Valid CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Required criminal history background clearance (fingerprinting)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in the federally required random drug and alcohol testing program
Position Responsibilities
- Drivers may be assigned to: Morning, midday, and afternoon home-to-school routes
- Transportation for field trips, athletic events, and extracurricular activities
- Other transportation assignments that support the needs of the Pine Hill School District
