Two full-time contract positions are available for Speech Language Pathologists to make an impact in dynamic school settings near La Quinta, CA. Enjoy the satisfaction of helping students thrive, working 37.5 hours per week in collaborative environments.
Position 1:
Focus on a high school caseload, collaborating with another SLP and providing essential support by managing overflow cases. This is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys teamwork while working independently as needed.
Position 2:
Experience variety by serving students split between a high school and a middle school. This position offers the chance to broaden your impact across different age groups and needs, working alongside committed school professionals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable adapting to varying caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and intervention services according to students' IEPs
- Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights with staff and families
- Support students in overcoming barriers to communication for classroom and social success
- Utilize creative approaches to therapy tailored to diverse student populations
