Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience managing personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation, deposition, motion practice, and trial experience, with the ability to independently manage a caseload, develop legal strategies, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court. This role requires excellent legal judgment, client communication, and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of pre-suit and litigated personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
- Develop case strategies, including liability analysis, damages evaluation, and settlement planning.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and other legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare expert witnesses and argue motions before the court.
- Handle settlement negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
- Evaluate case value, insurance coverage, liens, and litigation risks.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and legal options.
- Collaborate with legal support staff, experts, and vendors to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with legal deadlines and court procedures.
- Contribute to a trial-ready culture by preparing cases thoroughly and advocating effectively on behalf of clients.
