About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Current Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with any charting system - Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab skills - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. The nurse will work four days a week with rotating shifts from Monday to Friday. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. The nurse will be responsible for diagnostic catheterizations and interventional catheterizations. Essential skills include experience in left heart catheterization and right heart catheterization. Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience is also necessary. The nurse should have the ability to administer and monitor procedural sedation. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias will be part of the role. Flexibility for on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required. The candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
