We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsTheCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)works inthe inpatient and/or outpatientsetting providingawide-rangeof treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.You will utilizevarious types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment such as masks, tents and incubators.The patientpopulation may range from newborn to geriatric.You will educatepatientsoftreatments, support groups and otheravailable programs.You will deliver and assessresponses to ordered therapy per plan of care including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.You will measure ventilator volumes, pressures and blood gas analysis.You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.You will performs a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/PractitionerVocational School GraduateNo Travel RequiredNo experience Required Years of Experience HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is located in west Miami-Dade County.
