Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct initial interviews and comprehensive assessments to ascertain the needs of new clients.

  • Provide ongoing evaluations of clients through the integration of bio-psychosocial information gathered from clients, their families, referral sources, and other pertinent stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate competencies that align with current standards of chemical dependency, ensuring effective treatment methods and approaches are utilized.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drug treatment facilities and diverse treatment modalities that can benefit clients.

  • Engage with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity in therapeutic interventions.

  • Document client progress and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists primarily of individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders and their co-occurring mental health conditions. You will be tasked with providing compassionate care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery and improve life quality for these individuals. The diverse backgrounds of our clients enrich your experience as a counselor and allow you to develop a broad understanding of various therapeutic needs.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

  • A valid and active Washington State License (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT).
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in therapeutic settings, specifically working with individuals struggling with addiction or co-occurring disorders.

  • Strong adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in all aspects of practice, including the handling of sensitive client information.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written forms, to foster understanding and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
