Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team and make a positive impact on students’ communication journeys at Centerview and Northpoint Elementary.

You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, empowering their ability to communicate and succeed in academic and social settings. The assignment runs from August 31 to June 4, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current, active SLPA license in good standing (please include license/cert number in your application)
  • Experience or background supporting school-aged children in a structured environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation, schedules, and intervention plans
  • Familiarity with school-based SLPA duties preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students in both one-on-one and group settings based on individualized education plans
  • Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and record-keeping
  • Collaborate closely with educators and caregivers to support overall student communication development
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
