About the Opportunity A well-established, locally respected general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in the Kansas City market. This is a key hire tied to long-term growth and succession planning within the estimating department. The company is specifically looking for a true “numbers” estimator — someone who: Thrives in competitive bid environments Understands how to win work Is confident owning hard-bid and select-bid pursuits Wants to play a long-term role in shaping and leading the estimating function Looking for a clear path to step into a larger role over time. What You’ll Be Doing Lead bid pursuits from start to finish Prepare detailed, competitive estimates Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents Solicit and level subcontractor pricing Develop bid strategies and identify risk/opportunity Partner with operations and leadership during pursuits Play a direct role in winning work What They’re Looking For 8+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor Strong background in commercial, warehouse, or industrial construction Ability to independently manage estimates Strong attention to detail and ownership of numbers Competitive mindset with a high level of accountability Project Types Commercial Warehouse / distribution Industrial Civic / community-focused work Why This Role Clear path toward future leadership within estimating Stable, well-established contractor Repeat clients Balanced mix of negotiated and competitive work Collaborative team with strong visibility #J-18808-Ljbffr Ardith Rademacher & Associates Inc
