Breakfast Attendant

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing a welcoming, clean, and well-stocked breakfast experience for hotel guests in accordance with IHG brand standards. This role focuses on food preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up and preparing the breakfast area before service hours
• Preparing and replenishing breakfast items (hot and cold) according to IHG brand standards
• Ensuring food quality, freshness, and proper presentation at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness of the breakfast area, kitchen, and storage areas
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Greeting guests warmly and assisting with questions or special requests
• Monitoring inventory and restocking supplies as needed
• Breaking down and cleaning the breakfast area after service
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues to management promptly

Qualifications and skills include:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service or hospitality experience a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Physical requirements include:

• Standing and walking for long periods
• Lifting, carrying, and bending as needed
• Working in a kitchen environment with hot equipment

Work environment includes:

• Fast-paced hotel breakfast service area
• Early morning hours (5:30a-10a)
