This inpatient facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing 24-hour call-based cardiovascular coverage, with APP support in place to facilitate effective care delivery. Clinical resources, including EPIC EMR, are available throughout the assignment period.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and family-friendly attractions. Destinations include Antioch Park, the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail, and the Strawberry Hill Povitica Company, alongside nearby options such as the SEA LIFE Aquarium Kansas City and the LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Community events, live music, food trucks, and outdoor gatherings in the downtown area provide additional leisure opportunities throughout the assignment period.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a 24-hour call basis, with 8 hours of on-site coverage daily dedicated to rounding, consults, and procedures. A patient volume of 10-15 patients per day is anticipated throughout the coverage period. Experience with echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, nuclear cardiology, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is considered an asset for this assignment. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system, and 13 APPs are available to support clinical operations throughout the coverage period.
