• WEEKEND DAY SHIFT
• 7am to 7:30pm
• $17./hr

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning and Janitorial Specialist to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring that our commercial, industrial, and residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cleaning, custodial services, and floor care, with a commitment to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the upkeep of our facilities while developing valuable skills in maintenance and cleaning operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various facility areas.
• Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor polishers, and industrial vacuums to maintain flooring quality.
• Execute specialized floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve surface integrity.
• Assist with custodial duties related to industrial cleaning projects or large-scale commercial cleaning assignments.
• Support basic facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and supplies inventory, ensuring proper storage and safety protocols.
• Follow safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and uphold high standards of hygiene.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or related cleaning roles.
• High School Diploma/ GED Required at time of hire
• Background check
