Sr. UX Designer
This individual must have a passion for delivering accessible, inclusive experiences to people. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and self-driven to produce high quality work. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment, welcome ambiguity, and partner with cross-functional teams to lead discovery, investigate problems, prototype solutions, validate the results, and deliver amazing experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Design Leadership, Product Managers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and other partners across the organization to design and redesign mobile-first digital product experiences across the Servicing Lane.
- Own end-to-end design process from concept to delivery, including user-research, conceptual wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity visual designs based upon our design system, and testing for consumer-facing web and mobile experiences considering user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Partner with a UX researcher to develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative research methods leveraging tools like user interviews.com and inform Product and Design strategy.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure high quality implementation of designs and provide guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers, product management, and engineering during weekly reviews and standups.
- Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas to push the user experience of our product.
- Be current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product design and UI/UI design.
Requirements:
- 6 – 8 years of experience designing mobile-first consumer facing digital experiences.
- Must have both native mobile app and web experience.
- Experience designing mobile-first and responsive web pages.
- Experience in fast paced environment.
- Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts and solutions.
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative testing.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping software Figma.
- Knowledge of UX best practices and trends.
- Strong understanding of information hierarchy and typography.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding and designing for Angular framework.
