Central Nursing Home is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. CNAs play an essential role in supporting residents with daily care needs while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals
• Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility as directed
• Take and document vital signs and other resident information as assigned
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nurse
• Assist with maintaining clean and comfortable resident rooms and care areas
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care as assigned
• Follow infection-control, safety, and resident-care procedures
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other team members
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Perform additional resident-care duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and established care procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
• Must meet applicable health and background requirements

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• PM: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• NOC: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
• Rotating weekends and weekend availability may be required
