Dental AssistantNeeded for Dental Office located in Bardonia, NYSalary $25-$28/ HR; BASED ON EXPERIENCEResponsibilities:Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficient four-handed dentistryPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials; maintain a clean and organized clinical environmentSterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelinesTake and process dental X-rays in accordance with state regulationsAccurately chart patient information, treatment notes, and clinical recordsProvide patient education, post-operative instructions, and support to ensure comfort and understandingGreet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processesSchedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments to support efficient office flowAnswer phones, respond to messages, and address patient questions professionallyVerify insurance eligibility, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding insurance mattersCollect copays and payments, post charges, and assist patients with billing and treatment plan questionsMaintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA complianceCoordinate communication between front desk, clinical team, and providersMonitor and restock clinical and office supplies as neededSupport overall office operations and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environmentQualifications:• Minimum one year of experience as a chairside dental assistant.• Must be able to take radiographs.• Must be comfortable working chairside with suctioning and other tasks.• Experience with Dentrix is preferred.• Front desk experience is preferred but not required; must be willing to learn.• Must be willing and able to help with any task.#7452
