Electro Mechanical Technician

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support first-shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical systems to ensure efficient production operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, PLC, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Design and test minor electrical circuits and machine control systems.
• Install, maintain, and service electrical and electronic controls using schematics and blueprints.
• Support facility electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective electrical or mechanical components.
• Assemble and install electrical equipment, including conduit, panels, breakers, motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor equipment performance for safety and operational efficiency.
• Execute both basic and advanced mechanical repairs as needed.
• Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior maintenance personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, circuit design, and power distribution systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended periods standing, bending, and stooping during 10-hour shifts.
