We're hiring a Yard Laborer in Colorado ! If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and tackling a variety of maintenance and plant tasks, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will help keep the concrete plant clean, safe, and running efficiently while supporting production activities such as batching and testing concrete.

Pay Rate: $25/hour - based on experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate heavy equipment including a loader and skid steer
• Perform batching of concrete and assist with concrete testing
• Clean and maintain the plant yard and surrounding areas
• Perform general groundskeeping and maintenance tasks including sweeping and debris removal
• Monitor production belts and remove hazards or obstructions
• Maintain dust control and support environmental compliance
• Complete housekeeping duties including stocking supplies and removing trash
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders or skid steers
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Experience in a plant or industrial environment is an asset
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, medical assessment, and drug & alcohol testing
• High school diploma or GED is considered an asset

Location & Work Environment

• Full-time, permanent position based in Colorado Springs
• 8-hour shifts with weekend work as required
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to heavy equipment, noise, and materials
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, lift or carry up to 50 lbs
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, vests, and glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats, with additional PPE for special jobs as required
