Mechanical Technician – Training To Production Planner Salary: GBP 32,000 – 37,000 per annum + training; hybrid working; flexi time. Location: Manchester, near Failsworth. The Role Due to continued growth and the securing of major contracts, we are recruiting a production planner to join our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Manchester. This brand‑new position will play a fundamental role in servicing some of the most impressive engineering companies in the UK and worldwide. The role involves working on civil and military projects for defence and aviation customers, planning all aspects of production – timescales, materials, parts, etc., and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams. Work on a mixture of civil and military projects for defence/aviation customers Plan all production aspects: timescales, materials, parts, and coordination of resources Read and interpret engineering drawings and understand engineering processes and timeframes Receive full training to develop knowledge of company products and processes Qualifications and Experience Hands‑on background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering Ability to accurately plan and coordinate timescales and materials for projects Strong understanding of engineering drawings Requirements Valid UK work permit or British passport Must be able to pass clearance Commute to Failsworth Equal Opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
