Salary: $30 - $38.72 per hour A bit about us: We are representing a nationally established inpatient rehabilitation organization seeking a Registered Dietitian for its Boise, Idaho hospital on a PRN/as-needed basis. This clinical role works directly with rehabilitation patients to assess nutritional needs, develop individualized nutrition plans, monitor nutritional status, provide education, and collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Assess patients' nutritional status and dietary needs Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans Counsel and educate patients according to physician orders and prescribed diets Collaborate with physicians and other clinical disciplines regarding nutrition needs and patient progress Evaluate referral orders and determine appropriate methods of nutritional intake Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate nutrition recommendations Review, revise, and approve menus for nutritional adequacy Assist patients with therapeutic and special dietary requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required Current Idaho licensure required Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution with a major in Food and Nutrition One year of Clinical Dietetics experience preferred Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred Interested in hearing more?
