As a Registered Nurse, you play a critical role in ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.You won't just provide clinical care. You will lead, supervise, educate, and support both clients and staff.This Role IncludesSupervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing AssistantsOverseeing daily nursing activities, including training, coaching, and evaluating staffSupporting medical providers in delivering quality healthcare to clientsMonitoring lab results and diagnostic reportsArranging laboratory testing and providing phlebotomy services as neededEducating clients and staff on health, growth, and treatment needsEnsuring compliance with licensing, contractual, and regulatory standardsMonitoring equipment and supply quality controlReviewing client health complaints and responding appropriatelyMaintaining timecards and leave requests for assigned staffConducting team meetingsUsing WHS technology platforms (Centricity, QuickMar, Microsoft Office)Participating in required trainingsServing as a mandated reporter under Michigan Child Protection LawTraveling to the WHS Vassar location at least one (1) day per week to support nursing operations and oversightWhat Success Looks LikeMaintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environmentEnsuring clients' medical needs are met accurately and timelySupervising nursing staff effectively and professionallyRemaining compliant with all applicable laws and regulationsCommunicating clearly with interdisciplinary teamsMaintaining accurate documentation and oversightWhat You Need to Apply – Minimum QualificationsActive State of Michigan Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent BCLS CertificationProficiency in Centricity, QuickMar, and Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and leadership skillsWhy Work at Wolverine Human ServicesAt WHS, your clinical skills directly support youth who need stability and care.You'll work in a mission-driven environment where:Leadership mattersCollaboration is essentialProfessional standards are upheldYour work has daily impactYou won't just have a job.
