About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Ortho or plastics post-surgical skills set Description: Responsible for providing patient care in a medical-surgical setting. Work with short stay orthopedic, urology, and plastics surgery patients. The orthopedic population consists mainly of joint replacement surgery patients. Daily census averages around 14 patients. Patient ratios overnight are typically 1:4-6. Expected to float within the medical-surgical unit to meet facility needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Ability to handle surgical drains and assist with post-operative care. Flexibility to comply with various scheduling requirements, including weekends. Must maintain compliance with necessary training and certifications. Completion of necessary forms and modules prior to the start date is required. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures throughout the assignment.
