Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments
• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, sealant application, and fluoride treatments
• Administer nitrous oxide
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms
• Assist with scheduling and other patient care needs as necessary

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Arkansas
• Local Anesthesia license required
• CPR certification
• Graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of dental software and basic computer skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
