What You'll Do

As a Recovery Support Specialist at RCA, you will:

• Monitor and support patient activities, ensuring safety through regular checks and observations.
• Engage directly with patients, facilitating therapeutic interactions, group sessions, and scheduled activities.
• Assist with admissions and discharges, including processing belongings, documentation, and patient orientation.
• Support crisis intervention through verbal de-escalation and against-advice interventions.
• Facilitate patient movement within the facility and assist in coordinating attendance for clinical and medical appointments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, safety checks, and incidents.

What We're Looking For

A high school diploma or equivalent.

One year of experience in addiction services or behavioral health preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with behavior modification techniques and 12-step recovery principles. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.
