We're looking for an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in running a smooth operatory, anticipates what the dentist needs before it's asked, and knows how to put a nervous patient at ease. We'll invest in you.Paid vacation and paid holidays.Dental insurance (of course).Short-term disability coverage.Uniform allowance and bonus pay.What Your Day Looks Like:Greeting patients warmly and getting them comfortable in the chair.Setting up operatories with the right instruments, materials, and equipment for each procedure.Assisting chairside with four-handed dentistry.Taking radiographs.Sterilizing instruments and keeping infection control airtight.Pouring models and fabricating whitening trays.Walking patients through post-op and home-care instructions so they leave confident.Keeping operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked.Updating patient charts accurately and helping with checkout and payments as needed.Maintaining equipment and helping order supplies.What You Bring:Required:2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.Florida dental radiography certification.Current BLS/CPR certification.Solid knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA.High school diploma or equivalent.Comfort with dental practice software and digital charting.A friendly, reliable, detail-oriented approach. You're the kind of person who notices when something's off and fixes it.Big Pluses:Florida Expanded Functions (EFDA) certification.Experience fabricating temporary crowns and bridges.Bilingual in English and Spanish.Experience with [Dentrix / Eaglesoft / OpenDental].Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program.How to Apply:Send your resume and a short note answering this question: What's one thing you do to help an anxious patient relax?
