Marlboro Manufacturing, a leader in continuous hinge manufacturing is seeking a skilled Shipping Manager to lead our logistics operations and warehouse operations to ensure every shipment moves smoothly from origin to destination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of freight and delivery processes, and the ability to manage timelines and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shipping operations and coordinate with carriers and department managers to ensure on time deliveries
- Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with shipping regulations
- Train and mentor team members to improve performance
- Monitor inventory in the warehouse
- Have the ability to accurately communicate with multiple departments internally
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in shipping, freight, or logistics management
- Proficiency in shipping software and tracking systems
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Work a 5-day week schedule Monday thru Friday (1st shift only)
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
