Delivery Driver/Warehouse

We are actively seeking hard-working and growth-oriented individuals that are excited to begin their career within the transportation industry.Responsibilities & Duties:Accurately pick and pack customer orders for daily fulfillment requirements.Load and unload delivery vehicle utilizing a forklift, pallet jack, and lift gate.Drives to the delivery destination, confirms order with customer, unloads and verifies product, obtains confirmation signature and payment from the customer.Manage individual delivery route by prioritizing customer needs.Maintains customer relationships by providing superior customer service at all times.Operates a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure DOT safety compliance.Adhere to all company policies and procedures in regard to safety.Maintains a clean workspace.Effectively cross train to assist in other warehouse departments and functions as needed.Other duties as assigned.Our Ideal Candidate:Has a clean driving recordPossesses or has the ability to obtain a Class C driver's license.Ability to pass a DOT Physical Exam, Background Check and Drug Screen.Familiar with customer service.Proficient with forklift and other order picking equipment.Team-orientated mindset and strong work ethic.General knowledge of the Chicagoland area as well as surrounding suburbs.Maintains excellent attendance history.Can perform basic mathematics (adding, subtracting, division, and multiplication)Understands how to read a ruler or tape measurer.Qualifications:Valid Driver's License (required)High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Commercial driving 1 year (preferred)Warehouse experience (preferred)Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 25lbs frequentlyMust be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionallyMust be able to lift up to 75lbs infrequentlyBenefits:Medical, Dental and VisionLife Insurance/Accidental Death/LTD – Company PaidSupplemental Life Insurance401(k) + Company Match!PTO after 30 daysPaid Holidays after 30 daysParental Leave after 6 Months of HireEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Uniforms Provided***(Employees are eligible for benefits the 1st of the month following 60 days)***Why work for HTI?
